Shahrukh Khan was born on 2nd November, 1965 to Taj Mohammed Khan and Lateef Fatima. He has an elder sister named Shehnaz. Growing up in Rajendra Nagar neighborhood, SRK attended St. Columba’s School where he was accomplished in sports, drama, and academics. He won the Sword of Honor (he won awards from his childhood!!), an annual award given to the student who best represents the spirit of the school. Shahrukh later attended the Hansraj College and earned his Bachelors degree in Economics (honors). He was pursuing a Masters Degree in Mass Communications at Jamia Millia Islamia but life had other plans for him. Something much bigger and better was awaiting him.

SRK when in Delhi studied acting under Theatre Director Barry John at Delhi’s Theatre Action Group (TAG). He made his acting debut in 1988 with Fauji a television series, playing the role of Commando Abhimanyu Rai.
